Proposed events to take place in the Sidney Myer Asia Centre should be Asia-focused and linked to the activities of Asia Institute (formerly MIALS) , Asialink and other Asia-related activities of other University units.
This includes seminars and public lectures on Asia-related issues, visiting delegations from Asia, public ‘country briefings’ such as the ‘Indonesia Update’ and Asia-related book launches, cultural exhibitions and performances.
All requests for the hire of venues within the Sidney Myer Asia Centre should be lodged a minimum of 4 weeks ahead of the proposed event and be directed to Timetabling, Venue and Conference Management, Student Administration, Academic Services.
