Yasuko Hiraoka Myer Room, Level 1
The Yasuko Hiraoka Myer Room is a multi-purpose function space suitable for seminars, lectures, exhibitions and receptions.

Capacity:

  • Standing receptions for 200 people
  • Seminar/Lectures – theatre seating for 80 people

The Yasuko Hiroaka Myer Room is rented as an empty space.

You may request a set up consisting of the following -

  • 80 chairs*;
  • 3 round tables; and
  • 4 trestle tables.

*The number of available chairs may increase to 100 in non-teaching periods.

The use of this furniture is included in the hire of the room.

The Yasuko Hiraoka Myer Room also includes:

  • Outdoor balcony
  • Toilets
  • Disabled access
  • Adjacent kitchenette (suitable for reheating)
  • PA system, including lectern with microphone and cordless microphone (hire charges may apply)
  • Portable staging up to 3.6m x 1.6m (hire charges may apply)

Because of the particular set-up requirements, hirers of the Yasuko Hiraoka Myer room must book a building supervisor for their function. There will be a charge applicable for Building Supervision.
